A starting point. 2006: Object 03, a limited edition of 10 mirrored stainless steel vases, is presented as part of Disappearance of Object by Karen Chekerdjian at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (NYC).

2014: Object 03 in fact physically disappears. The collection is sold out. The process shaping Object 03 series is altered, becoming TRANS-. Three-dimensional elements are flattened into the two-dimensional. Transformations are made to scale, height, configuration and finishing, resulting in renewed appearances and disappearances. A new methodology is made evident. Trans|form is deliberately put together and exhibited as one work at the Beirut Art Centre (Lebanon) from October 29th to November 24th.

2015: What remains is the imprint of the collection, ingrained in the designing process driven by random, conscious encounters and aesthetic refutations.

The parameters of transformation are rearranged, continuously influencing how one works and why.

Beginnings are concrete and physical, rarely conceptual. And endings are whimsical, never really final.
